Is Jesus Christ, Michael the Archangel? 
To answer this question, we have to go into the Bible.

Let’s begin by reading Jude 1:9 it says “Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.”

So Who is this Michael?

The Bible says in Daniel 12:1  “And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people:”

Answer: Michael is the Great Prince

So, What does it mean to be a “great prince?”

Let’s see what the Bible has to say in Daniel 8:25.  It reads “And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.”

Answer: It means to be Prince of princes.

Who is the “Prince of princes?”

Dan 9:25  “Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.”

Answer: “the Messiah.”

But Why is the Messiah The Prince of Princes?

The Bible says in John 4:25  “The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things.”

Isa 9:6  “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”
Answer: He is the Prince of Peace, the Mighty God, Jesus Christ, Our Saviour!

So, Is Jesus Christ, Michael the Archangel? 

According to what just read from the Bible, Michael the great prince, is the prince of princes, the messiah, who is Christ Jesus, The Mighty God, The Prince of Peace, Our Saviour!

So Yes. Jesus Christ is Michael the Archangel.

    WOW!!!!!! Are you serious right now????? I’ve never EVER seen such a loose, sloppy and literally BONEHEADED literary analysis!!!! STUNNING!!!!!!! Not ONE SINGLE VERSE consistently used the same term, each one used and included different terms. And you literally DESTROY your own argument by some of your scripture!!!
    YOur own verse indicates that Michael did not dare to bring accusation against the devil, but rebuked him IN THE LORD!!! Yet in MULTIPLE SCRIPTURES, Jesus is REFERRED TO AS LORD!!!!
    WOW, you guys really need to do some deeper research and study!!!

    You only have one or two verses referring to Michael as A PRINCE, and NEVER directly as “The Prince of Peace, or Prince of Princes!!!!!!! You only have GREAT PRINCE, and then you ask “What does it mean to be a great prince”, and then you use a scripture which NEVER USES THE TERM GREAT PRINCE, it is CLEARLY referring to SOMEONE ELSE as Prince of Princes along with MANY OTHER NAMES OF GOD, the LORD. This is REALLY STUNNING that you can actually be so badly deceived by such a LAME ARGUMENT!!!!!! This is not even CLOSE to being a persuasive argument for anyone with even HALF a brain, and who has the ability to THINK AT ALL, and give a reasonable analysis to what they are reading. There are SO MANY MANY MANY verses that CLEARLY indicate Jesus IS GOD, (Not “A” god as you like to convince people, after you had to ADD WORDS TO THE BIBLE to make the verse say that, since it definitely wasn’t there in the original!!!! In Greek, they put the MOST IMPORTANT WORD of a sentence at the BEGINNING. The verse that says ‘And the Word WAS GOD, the actual literal word for word writing IN GREEK is “And GOD WAS THE WORD”. The FIRST WORD, meaning the MOST IMPORTANT WORD, was GOD, even though the whole sentence is actually about JESUS, the Word. There are absolutely NO CLEAR DIRECT PASSAGES which say Jesus is NOT GOD, or that he is an angel, yet MANY MANY MANY who clearly indicate he IS GOD, and so you have to CHANGE THE WORDING of verses when they don’t support your view, in order to make it fit your twisted, corrupted paradigm.

      Too bad, you don’t have a clear perception of the scriptures. The Bible made it clear that Jesus is Michael, the ArchAngel.

      First of all, It was Machael that told the devil that he should not bring an accusation against Moses. How readest thou?

      Read the scripture again Jude 1:9 “Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.”

      Secondly, there are many princes, but the Greatest of All is Michael the Archangel. Therefore, He is the Prince of Princes.

      Just like how you have many Lords, but Jesus is the LORD of Lords.

      The Bible Should be studied line upon line, here a little and there a little. Isaiah 28: 10-13

      Is this how Christ would respond? There is the answer to why you don’t understand. Lord is a title. Most bibles have removed the name of God. Why? God introduced himself and said what his name was in exodus. He specifically said “This is my name”. I guess that’s not good enough. What if he said that is his name forever …what about from generation to generation? What is he said that’s how he wants to be remembered. Ex 3:13-15. It’s right there. Just put Gods name back in (they admit to taking it out)where is says LORD.Yet people continue to say he has many names. Jesus even said he came in the name of his father not in his own name.

        Hi Alicia, yes. Jesus would let you know that He is Michael the Archangel in His response.
        Jesus Appeared as Angel many times in the Bible.

        The Bible also makes it plain that Jesus is the son of God.

    I totally agree with you..The Bible made it very clear..Thank you for understanding this as well. I appreciate those who firmly go with what the Bible says n not that of their own understanding.

    I always understood Jesus and Michael are the same.
    Before Jesus came to earth he was Michael in the heavens as an angel..When he came to earth to be born a human he was given the name JESUS.. both names mean the same.

    I know it’s correct, that Jesus and Michael are one and the same. The only reason I can say that is because I was shown it in a dream. I wasn’t even asking. I saw my dad who is deceased sitting on a throne. To his right side was my stepson, whose name is Michael. Bravo!

    Zec 3:1-5 And he made me see Joshua the high priest standing before the Messenger of YAHWEH, and Satan standing at his right hand to accuse him. And YAHWEH said to Satan, YAHWEH rebuke you, Satan! And, YAHWEH who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Is this not a brand plucked out of the fire? And Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and he stood before the Messenger of YAHWEH. And He answered and spoke to those who stood before Him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. And He said to him, behold, I have caused your iniquity to pass from you, and I will clothe you with ceremonial robes. And I said, Let them set a clean turban on his head. And they set a clean turban on his head and clothed him with clothing. And the Messenger of YAHWEH stood by.

    Zechariah 3:1-5 is an apotelesmatic prophecy: it applies to both Joshua, the High Priest during the time of the people of Israel returning from Babylon, and also to Yahshua the High Priest who has ascended to His Father after His resurrection.

    John 20:17 Yahshua said to her, Do not touch Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father. But go to My brothers and say to them, I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and My Elohim, and your Elohim.

    Yahshua, having born the sins of all those of mankind who would be saved, was clothed with the the filth of their sins. He was standing before the Messenger of Yahuah (YHVH), and Satan was accusing Yahshua before Yahuah claiming Yahshua was worthy of eternal death.

    Gal_3:13 Messiah redeemed us from the curse of the Torah, having become a curse for us; for it has been written, “Cursed is everyone having been hung on a tree;”

    Deu 21:22-23 And if a man has committed a sin worthy of death, and he is executed, and you hang him on a tree,
    his body shall not remain all night on the tree; but surely, you shall bury him the same day. For he that is hanged is a reproach to Elohim. And you shall not defile your land which YAHWEH your Elohim is giving to you as an inheritance.

    Yahuah rebuked Satan, stating (about Yahshua) IS NOT THIS A BRAND PLUCKED FROM THE FIRE (i.e., the fire of the second death). And see Rev 3:16-19: So, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I am about to vomit you out of My mouth. Because you say, I am rich, and I am made rich, and I have need of nothing, and do not know that you are miserable and a wanderer and poor and blind and naked. I ADVISE YOU TO BUY FROM ME GOLD HAVING BEEN FIRED BY FIRE, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, and your shame and nakedness may not be revealed. And anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see. “I, as many as I love, I rebuke and I chasten.” Be zealous, then, and repent.

    Rev_20:14 And death and the grave were thrown into the Lake of Fire. This is the second death.
    Rev_20:15 And if anyone was not found having been written in the Book of Life, he was thrown into the Lake of Fire.
    Rev_21:8 But for the cowardly and unbelieving, and those having become sinful, and to murderers, and fornicators, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and to all liars, their part will be in the Lake burning with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.

    Then Yahuah told the Messenger to take away the filthy garments from Yahshua and clothe Him with ceremonial robes (kingship), and to set a clean turban (priestly) on His head.

    It is abundantly clear from the foregoing Scriptures (aka OT) and Testimonies of Yahshua (aka NT) that the Messenger was Micheal the Archangel, that Yahshua is NOT the archangel Micheal.

    To summarize, the problem with this Seventh-day Adventist claim that Yahshua is Michael the archangel is because of Ellen White’s “writings” (she is a proven plagiarist as the Fred Veltman study proved – that study commissioned by the White Estate is easily found by web search). Though they vehemently deny they have done so, the SdA denomination has made her an authority equal with Scripture, and because she NEVER had visions, rather experiencing episodes of “Partial complex seizures,” a form of epilepsy, she is literally a false prophet the denomination has created.

      Hi Bruce, the Bible makes it plain that Jesus is Michael the Archangel and if you carefully watch the video and read your Bible with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, you will see it.

        Can we lose our salvation contending, arguing, accusing one another about our understanding of the Scriptures. We’ve the eternity to learn what does not appear to be plain. Will Michael the Archangel and Christ, the Word love us any less if we or disagree whether the Two are One or not?

    Jesus is not an angel. He created the angels with his Father.
    Colossians 2:18-19
    18 Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,
    19 And not holding the Head, (Jesus Christ) from which all the body (his Church) by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God.

    Hebrews 1:6-9
    6 And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten (Jesus Christ) into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.
    7 And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.
    8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.
    9 Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

    Psalms 45:6
    6 Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom is a right sceptre.
    Therefore, Jesus is not an angel, but rather the creator of angels, along with his Father.

    Hebrews 1:13-14
    13 But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool? (NONE)
    14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?

    Hebrews 2:1-3
    Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.
    2 For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward;
    3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him; (the apostles).

    It is safer to assume that archangel Michael isn’t Christ.
    Daniel calls him ‘one of the princes’, ‘the great Prince’.
    If you belive that Christ is merely one of the princes, i. e, a number of princes and Christ is just one of them, then it’s fine, Michael is Christ. However, most Christians hold the belief that Christ is God, not a mere angel.
    Seventh Day Adventists also belive that Christ is God. It is futile to try to make Michael and Christ one. This only adds to the contradictions and confusions within SDA theology, which sadly, deviates from the Bible on some points.

    As a non believer in the trinity it’s quite comforting that a lot of christians believe that Michael the Arch angel is Jesus Christ Himself. I watched your video and found it totally convincing. I believe that Jehovah created Michael as his very first creation(Col CH 1 V15) Then everything was created through him and for him. Regards Elvis
